What file format do I get?
An .xlsx file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets (File → Import) and LibreOffice.
How do I receive it?
Right after checkout you’re taken to your download page, and your Stripe receipt/invoice email includes the same permanent link. Bookmark it.
Do I need a subscription?
No. One-time payment, yours to keep.
Do Google Sheets formulas work?
Yes, all formulas are standard functions supported by Google Sheets.
Refunds?
Because these are instant digital downloads, all sales are final once delivered. If a file is faulty, won’t open or has an error, just reply to your receipt email and we’ll fix or replace it, usually within a day or two. If we can’t fix it within 7 days, we’ll refund you in full. Accidental duplicate purchases are always refunded.
I lost my download link.
Search your inbox for the Stripe receipt or invoice from Ledgerly Kits; it contains your permanent download page link. Still stuck? Reply to that email.
I bought the same kit twice by mistake.
Reply to either receipt and we will refund the duplicate.
I bought one kit and now want the bundle.
Reply to your receipt email before buying and we’ll send you a link to get the bundle for the difference, so you never pay twice.
Does it work on Mac Numbers, iPad or phone?
Excel (Windows/Mac), Google Sheets and LibreOffice are fully supported. Apple Numbers opens the file and most formulas work, but formatting may differ. On a phone, download to Google Drive or Files and open in the Google Sheets or Excel app; a computer is easiest for setup.
Are there macros?
No macros, scripts or external links. Just standard formulas, so the file is safe to open.
What currency? Is tax included?
Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may convert the price to your currency.
Can I use the freelancer kit for more than one year?
Use one copy per year: save a fresh copy each January so months do not mix.
Is this financial advice?
No. The kits and calculators are organizing tools that produce estimates.
How much should a freelancer set aside for taxes?
Many freelancers set aside 25–30% of each payment, but your number depends on your tax bracket and location. The kit lets you set your own percentage.
How do I budget with irregular income?
Budget from a conservative average of past income, pay yourself a fixed salary, and keep a buffer for lean months. The kit automates all three.
How much should I budget for home maintenance?
A common rule of thumb is 1–4% of the home’s value per year, higher for older homes. The free calculator shows the range for your home.
What maintenance does a new house need?
HVAC filters, smoke detectors, gutters, water heater flushes and more. The kit includes 30 common tasks with suggested frequencies.
When should I start planning a move?
About 8 weeks ahead is a common starting point for booking movers, decluttering and scheduling utilities.
What should I change my address with?
USPS, DMV, bank, cards, employer, insurance, doctors, subscriptions and utilities. The kit lists 25.
